2010 Blackwood Valley & WA Boutique Wine Show

The Show is the feature event on the calendar of the Blackwood Valley Wine Industry Association and aims to showcase the quality wines that are produced in the region. 

It also an opportunity for Boutique Wine Producers from across Western Australia, who crush up to 250 tonnes, to have their wines judged to Australian Standards by some of the country’s leading critics. 

This year, the Blackwood Valley Wine Industry Association has secured the expertise of John Hanley, Kim Horton and Alan Dinneen who will form the judging panel.  The judging process will occur over two days, Thursday 21^st and Friday 22^nd October 2010.

The Official Function and Presentation of Awards will be held on the evening of Saturday, 23^rd October where the top wines of the Show will be available for Exhibitors, Show Sponsors and other wine enthusiasts to sample in a cocktail style function.  Tickets for the Official Function are $30 per head.  

Boutique Winemakers from across Western Australia are encouragted to enter what is the only Show in the State that caters specifically for the smaller producer.
