The Blackwood Valley holds many great events throughout the year including the Bridgetown Blues, the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival and the Blackwood Marathon. At all of these events you will find some of our great local wines but if you want to see them all in one place then the Taste of the Blackwood is where you should be.

Taste of the Blackwood is a fantastic new event presented by Taste of Balingup in partnership with the Blackwood Valley Wine Industry Association. The event is part of a month long celebration of Winter in the Blackwood and features food and wine produce from across the region. It is a wonderful opportunity to taste local produce and talk to the people that grow it, as well as highlights such as celebrity chef demonstrations and fun food activities. Held every year in early July, it is an event not to miss.

The Blackwood Valley & WA Boutique Wine Show is another great opportunity to taste wines from our region, as well as from other boutique producers across the state.
